Nothing Is Wrong?

Uh oh. Something’s wrong. I’m worrying…

It happens, and in the end, it rarely pays off. Sure, it supports some of our survival instinct to anticipate possible “threats” to our well-being. Worrying, though, is different from planning and preparing.

Worrying… is like worshipping the problem. (Thanks to a friend who shared this little mantra with me recently.)

Sometimes, we can fall into a moment or a pattern of looking for problem in things. What’s the result of looking for problems in things? We start to turn the very things into problems themselves.

Coaching can support you to switch from worrying to gaining control of your circumstances. And, even if you’re not in control, it helps you to increase the perceived amount of trust in yourself to handle the circumstances. You are empowered.

By reducing worrying, we can switch from “everything is wrong, nothing is fine” to “everything is fine, nothing is wrong.” You may not move to utopia, but you can still make big shifts in life by adopting a utopian mindset.

When we take a step back, many of the times when we worry, in fact… nothing… is… wrong? Yes, I said it. We might be making it wrong, but it’s not actually wrong. Even dropping the mindset of right and wrong, to consider how things may simply be “different” can be a powerful shift.

What would change if nothing were actually wrong with the thing you’re complaining about? How would you be different if you acknowledge what is simply different?

Are you curious to explore the situation where nothing is wrong and everything is right? Let’s try a free coaching call, where we can discuss your worries and whether I’m a fit to help you shift.
